1. Do I need a tech background to apply?
No. This program is designed for people at all experience levels. If you can use a smartphone or a computer, you have what you need to start.
2. How long is the program?
AI Skills to Pay the Bills™ is a 12-week, 300-hour program. Classes run Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Some independent learning hours are required outside of class time.
3. Is this program free?
Funding availability depends on your location and eligibility. Many participants qualify for Workforce -funded enrollment at no cost. Your local program operator will walk you through what's available in your area.
4. What credentials will I earn?
You'll earn three stackable credentials: the AI Literacy Badge, the AI Fluency Certificate, and the AI Proficiency Certificate — aligned with the NSF AI Deployment Corps practitioner framework
5. What will I have at the end of the program?
A documented portfolio, three credentials, a completed capstone project connected to a real employer, and a career transition plan.
6. Who runs this program locally?
AI Skills to Pay the Bills™ is delivered by authorized implementation partners in partnership with local workforce boards and community organizations. Your local operator manages enrollment, instruction, and support.
